![]() I've installed lots of different software to protect my machine, this is the only one of its kind that I've seen have random updaters popping up in task manager, just randomly. If they changed that aspect about their software, It might not be so suspicious about it. Most decent programs like Malwarebytes and Superantispyware, have a just a product update and a malware definition update, not crazy sounding updaters just popping up randomly. So that to me made me suspicious of the program, because it didn't actually update anything. I keep task manager open constantly, especially when I'm testing software. From some of the popups in my task manager, that I can remember was like, like surf protection updater and web publish protection updater, and they would just pop up for a few seconds and disappear, They didn't update anything, you would have seen a spike in the cpu usage. I dont have any problems with my PC other than it is a dinosaur. What I didn't like about this particular software was that is that it had all these updaters and whatnot popping up in my taskmanager just randomly. Why would you people have garbage-ware on your site? I always thought you were reputable and decent people to help people with their PCs. But when I ran malwarebytes, and had Iobit protecting, supposedly It just so happened I suddenly have error messages, We'll just say fake error messages pop up on my PC because of something Iobit didn't like me doing to my own PC. And you know the funny thing is, I've never had error messages on my PC. Malwarebytes only uses one executable to scan your computer. Why does a program have a gazillion and one executables associated with it. It's garbage-ware as well, if not spyware itself. Ok to go on The Iobit malware fighter itself has a gazillion and one updaters and horseshit executables associated with it that randomly popup in your task manager from time to time as well. Malwarebytes, A known good program detected this program as a potentially unwanted program. ![]() It was ridiculous still trying to function after I disabled it. We'll here's what I did, I completely disabled the Advanced System Care through services and I still had popups of their gazillion and one updaters popping up in my task manager after disabling the program as good as I could through services. I installed Iobit malware fighter on my PC it comes packaged with the advanced system care program as well. I'm still an XP user I'm familiar with windows 10 though. I've been testing a lot of software because I plan on buying a new computer. I've always thought you guys were great at helping people resolving their problems and as well helping them protect their computers. A good friend turned me on to Majorgeeks about 14 years ago. ![]()
